Pastor Phillip White has been a member of Christ Centered COGIC (founded and lead by his grandfather, Pastor Roosevelt Lakey) almost all his life. In 1997, Minister White was appointed to the position of Youth Pastor where he served faithfully in developing the lives of young people, especially feeling a call to mentor young men.
On June 7, 2002, Minister White was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ by Bishop Charles E. Blake. In 2005, he was appointed Executive Pastor of Christ Centered by then Senior Pastor Larry T. Lakey, Sr. In January 2009 Pastor White assumed the role and office of Senior Pastor upon the retirement of Pastor Lakey.
In 2017, Pastor White was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Southern California, where he faithfully serves Bishop Joe L. Ealy and its constituents.
Pastor White stays in pursuit of God’s word receiving theological training at the Long Beach Christian College Training Institute and is the administrator of the “And The Bible Says” Preaching Conference.
Pastor White is most proud of being part of a wonderful, God given family. He is married to his heart, the lovely and always supportive Glory White, our Leading Lady. Together they have been blessed with two children, daughter Asia Brittnay and son Benjamin Phillip.
LADY GLORY WHITE
Lady Glory White accepted Christ at the age of 21 at the Greater Fountain of Life COGIC under the leadership of her uncle, Supt. Isom McCray. There she was filled with the Holy Spirit and served in ministry as Sunday School Secretary, Teacher and choir member. She was blessed to obtain her bachelor of science degree in Business Administration and to work for a utility company for 37 years.
Lady White or “Lady Glo” as she is affectionately known, is the leading lady of the Regenerated Church where she has faithfully served along side her husband, Pastor Phillip White. Her role as a leading lady is to serve. She is a very down to earth, approachable woman of God who doesn’t sit to be waited on but will lend her creative, organizational or administrative gifts in any area of ministry.
At the Regenerated Church, Lady White serves as the Director of the CCJewels Women’s Ministry and Teen Jewels Ministry. She believes that every woman, no matter what their background, is precious, valuable and worthy of God’s love and grace. Her goal is to provide women with the tools to cultivate a true authentic relationship with God and with one another. Lady Glo is extremely proud of her CCJewels who have raised over $10K towards breast cancer research for the last 10 years.
Lady White’s greatest accomplishment is her beautiful family; her wonderful and anointed husband of 29 years, Pastor Phillip White and her two talented children Asia Brittnay and Benjamin Phillip.
